Student-Led Movement Inspires Historic Midterm Turnout

TAMPA, FL- All preliminary results point to a record breaking surge in youth voter turnout in the 2018 midterm elections. Students working with the Public Interest Research Groups’ New Voters Project made over 375,000 Get Out the Vote contacts in 11 states.

The Affordable Textbooks Campaign Kicks Off

On Monday, September 24th, MaryPIRG held its biannual campaign Kickoff. It was an informative and engaging event with great speakers (including the past mayor of College Park, as well as each individual campaigns’ managers) and the chance to discuss semester-long strategy with each of the respective campaigns.
