Our Leadership

Mercer joined Maryland PIRG in August 2010 as an Associate in the fellowship program. Mercer spends the majority of her time on Maryland PIRG's energy efficiency and tax and budget programs.

Dan is the Campus Organizer at the University of Maryland, College Park. He has worked with the student PIRGs for 3 years as a student at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and now in Maryland.

Sam is a Sophmore Environmental Science and Policy major at the University of Maryland, College Park. As our Chapter Chair and Sustainable U Co-Coordinator, Sam helped apply for a $21,000 grant with SGA and Residential Facilities to increase access to reusable bottle refilling stations on campus.

Nicole Allen is the Textbook Advocate and director of the Make Textbooks Affordable project.
